‘Deals signed between Nepal-China on way to implementation’

March 28, 2017

Kathmandu, March 28: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Dr Rishi Adhikari has said that PM Dahal’s China visit was successful.
At an interaction programme organized by Reporters Club in the capital city on Thursday, Dr Adhikari said that PM Dahal’s 45 minutes long talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping was crucial. He also added that China’s pledge for financial assistance for the local level polls in Nepal and other issues made the visit completely successful.
Dr Adhikari said that the deals agreed between Nepal-China by the last government are on the way to implementation and added both sides are doing homework for the same.
Likewise, Nepal’s former ambassador to China Tanka Karki said Prime Minister’s China visit was successful to promote goodwill between the two nations.
Karki commented that PM’s address to the regional multidimensional forum—Boao Forum for Asia—was a great achievement for Nepal.
Karki shared that China was repeatedly expressing its concerns for the implementation of bilateral agreements inked during the KP Sharma Oli-led government. RSS
