Visit to take Nepal-India ties to new height-PM Dahal

New Delhi, Sept 16: The New Delhi-based Nepali Embassy hosted a banquet in honour of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on a four-day state visit to India at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday evening.
The banquet was attended by high-ranking government officials, Indian political party’ leaders and representatives of diplomatic missions.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Dahal noted that the main objective of his India visit was to take the bilateral relations between Nepal and India to a new height and that the visit has further expanded the ties.
Nepal-India relations are significant at the political, historical, cultural, and people’s level, he said adding that such relations are expected to bring about a positive change in the people’s fortune and the financial condition of the two countries.
He also expressed gratitude towards the support and sympathy expressed by India and the people of India in the aftermath of the earthquake that struck Nepal last year.RSS PHOTO
